As the host of our annual Thanksgivings I normally have two turkeys; one traditional and one smoked. For the last 8 years I have consistently ordered from another company but due to the turkey shortage of 2022, they could not deliver. That's said, I went searching and came across Amana and the consistent reviews about their whole smoked turkey. So I bought one and they did not disappoint! The turkey arrived on time and was delicious! Several guests asked for the name of the smokehouse that I ordered my turkey from, which I happily shared. I will be purchasing from Amana again.

We served this at room temperature, as recommended. The dark meat was very moist, tender and tasty, just the right amount of smoke flavor. The breast meat was also very good, but slightly dry. We will definitely do this again.

The turkey was a really good size. It arrived exactly on time. And most important it's flavor was perfect - not too smoky but enough to make it taste really special. My wife said it was a lot easier to prepare than when we smoked our own!!!

I've been ordering smoked turkeys for 30 years and had a wide variety. Amana's version is in my top 2! It was a nice smoky flavor, but not overpowering. The 12 pound bird was very meaty and the aroma sweetly permeated the house while it was cooking. The heating instructions worked just as published.

Got mine in mid-October. Ate it immediately. Solves the problem of being "turkied-out" after Thanksgiving without having to be victim of your host's preference in turkeys. So, so good.

I have tried turkeys from various smoked meat houses and even local restaurants at Thanksgiving time. I've always ordered hams from Amana - but never a turkey, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered a whole smoked turkey a couple weeks ago and just warmed it up and it is unbelievable! This is definitely the ticket for turkey for family gatherings, Thanksgiving and whatever you love with turkey. It's moist, delish and so flavorful. The turkey is really a nice size as well. I will definitely be ordering this again.

I ordered the 10-12 lb smoked turkey for a dinner party. It served 14 people with some left over for next day sandwiches etc. Delivery was easy and it arrived on the day specified. All the guests raved about the turkey - I will certainly use Amana again.

Thank you for the excellent delivery service - time and communication. UPS was far superior than packages sent utilizing Fed Express - cost wise and timely. The package sent arrived in accordance to information provided by Amana. Our problem is that we sent it to a family member estranged from us who didn't indicate its arrival or thank you until we contacted them - it did arrive and we were thanked because I contacted them not the other way around - however we have no idea whether it was good, bad or indifferent. Hope someone will send us a smoked turkey someday or ham. Again thank you for your service.

After trying an Amana smoked turkey last year, we ordered one for Thanksgiving this year. These are juicy and flavorful turkeys and they come already cooked. The latest turkey was delivered in two days packaged to stay cold. The buying experience could not have been better. But these are expensive so we can order only once a year.

Turkey was excellent.

Our Smoked Turkeys are fully cooked and ready to eat. We recommend that the turkey be served at room temperature, but can be re-heated and still delicious. Simply follow these instructions for re-heating for the best results.
To serve warm: if frozen thaw in refrigerator, remove packaging and place on a rack in a pan or roaster with a small amount of water. Cover with foil or lid. Place in a pre-heated 325° oven. Bake approximately 12 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 135°. (You may bathe the turkey with liquid from the pan during the heating process for maximum flavor and to retain moisture.) Remove foil 3/4 the way through the cooking time so browning can occur. Basting with the turkey with your favorite savory sauce is always an option. Let rest before approximately 10 minutes serving.
The turkey may be stored in the freezer in it's original packaging for up the three months.
*SPECIAL NOTE: Your smoked turkey may have a pink cast when sliced. This is a harmless characteristic of smoked poultry.
