I quite buying pork chops at the market because they are just nasty - off taste and dry. I placed an order with Amana for other meats and thought I would give the chops a try. I made an error in overcooking (held them in the oven too long) and they were still wonderful! What flavor and still moist. I will be purchasing more.

A close family member recently moved out to Connecticut and had gone months without the grandeur of an Iowa pork chop. The Amana Meat Shop came to the rescue to fill that void with perfectly packaged and perfectly frozen meat which arrived on time to my family member in Connecticut. Although the pork chops arrived in perfect condition, we were very disappointed that they arrived 6 days after the estimated delivery date. These were a gift sent to friends and we hoped they might use the pork chops for family visitors between Christmas and New Years. Unfortunately, the chops arrived on the evening of January 3 after the guests had departed. I would have given 5 stars had the delivery not been late.

to Colorado and UPS was not able to deliver in the normal time in transit. We hope to be able to that that deliver date target for you next time!

He is A great cook and is very critical of certain cuts of meat. He prepared the Iowa Chops with Italian mushrooms and potato pierogi. They both loved the Chops! I will be ordering again from Amana. I liked working with a small local company.

The 12oz Iowa chops are spectacular. My only comment is for a chop that size you might consider individual wrapping. I am a widower and have to thaw out two chops at a time. A single serving of one chop at a time would be a treat. Thanks for your outstanding products.
Allow our Iowa Bone-In Pork Chops to come to room temperature before you grill them. Pat dry and brush with oil. Season with your favorite seasonings on both sides. Preheat grill on medium high heat or approximately 375°F. Grill pork chops over direct heat for 12-16 minutes total or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F. Turn pork chops once halfway through cooking to brown evenly on both sides. (You may also brown on both sides at 400°F, then move to indirect heat to continue cooking until the desired internal temperature above is reached.) Let them rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Tip: Our All Natural Seasoning pairs well with pork and adds great flavor to your meat!

Pork chops may be stored in the freezer in their original packaging up to three months for optimal quality and freshness.
