I was treated to an Amana ham at a dinner party a few years ago and remembered how good it was. I decided to order a small ham for myself for Easter dinner. It was delicious--just like the last time I had it. The 2-day UPS shipping definitely ensured freshness, and the ham was packaged very well. Reheating it was not difficult, and I was surprised at how much ham was on the bone after I was finished carving it. I froze a good portion of it and have enjoyed taking some out from the freezer here and there for another meal. It is not difficult to freeze and it tastes just as good once reheated.

This is a great ham. Despite its title of being a little ham, there is lots of meat there. Was concerned that it wasn't presliced but it's so tender and easy to slice. I've cut it thin or thick and it's been great. Very tender, juicy, warms up well, very lean. Will purchase again.

Very flavorful and moist. Nice smoky flavor. One caution: a challenge to carve due to configuration of the cut. Next time - and there will definitely be a next time - will try boneless spiral cut alternative and not embarrass myself over weak knife skills.

Ok, I've had ham before, lots of ham in my 71 years but I have to tell you this is simply the best ham I have every tasted. So tender I didn't even need a knife to cut into my slice and one slice lead to another and another. Perfectly smoked and not salty at all. I don't know how they do it but they need to keep on doing what they're doing. This ham fed three with ample leftovers, the dog even got some. I highly recommend this ham. I only used a little maple syrup to glaze, didn't want to hide the ham flavor. So yummy!

Family of three that wasn't traveling or having guests this Christmas. We've gotten heritage hams (that we love) several times from another company - but they are huge! I found a recipe I wanted to try that required a bone in smoked ham. The only smaller ones I could find either weren't bone in or already spiral cut, so when I found this one, I was all in. Shipping was fast, and it was packaged very well. Followed my recipe and used a digital thermometer to make sure timing was right. This is very smoky but just enough for what we like. VERY moist, even the leftovers for the next couple of days. Fork tender and lean. In fact, I would have preferred a little more fat on the outside as that was part of the recipe, but I worked around it. I'll definitely be back to Amana for future needs!

As a person who does not have family to celebrate holidays with, I try to treat myself to something special without having a huge amount of left overs. This ham was delicious on Thanksgiving and equally so on the following days. A managable amount for one or two people, but enough to feed more.

Your ham as received is very well prepared and enjoyable. I saved the bone and some meat to make up a Pot of Bean Soup-a lone time favorite and will add besides the ham, water and dried Northern Beans, we had here in Iowa---North of the Mason-Dixon Line, onion, celery and some carrots, being careful that too many carrots with their sweet juice can wreck a good soup! Thanks again

Amana Hams are fully cooked and ready to eat. To serve warm: if frozen thaw in refrigerator, remove packaging and place on a rack in a shallow pan or roaster with a small amount of water. Cover with foil or lid. Place in a pre-heated 325° oven. Bake approximately 14-15 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 135°. (You may bathe the ham with liquid from the pan during the heating process.) Remove foil 3/4 the way through the cooking time so browning can occur. Basting with your favorite sauce is optional. We recommend our Horseradish Jelly - delicious! Call to order.
Hams may be stored in the freezer in their original packaging for up the three months.
