Christmas snuck up on us this year, and looking for a ham, we stumbled upon Amana Meat Shop on the internet. How lucky were we to get the very best ham ever! Amana Boneless Hams are the Best!

I have been ordering Amana Boneless Hams for 40 years! I grew up in Iowa, and my father who was a local business owner in Cedar Rapids, IA, would purchase and send Amana Boneless Hams to his customers and family members every year for Christmas. When I moved to California in 1977, my father included me on his Christmas "gift of ham" list. My friends and family raved about the ham!! There is absolutely no fat, and it cuts easily with a fork. The taste is wonderful and I am not even a big "ham" fan!! It has become a Christmas tradition at my home for the last 40 years that I have passed down to my family. This year, in 2020, the boneless ham options were only the new "honey" boneless hams. At first I was disappointed, but ordered the "honey" boneless ham anyway. It did not disappoint.....it was delicious as well. Well done, Amana Meat Shop and Smokehouse!!!

I purchased the ham for Christmas so have not used it yet. Am sure it will be great as I used to get an Amana ham at the Hy-Vee store here in town but could not find one there this year. They were always great.

The AMANA Honey-Smoked Ham is my favorite of the hams offered. The flavor is delicate and the meat is tender. This year I warmed the ham for a few hours on low in a crockpot. The ham turned out perfect and there was no need to juggle oven space to bake my side dishes. In early December I was in Iowa for a visit. While there, I picked up a Honey Smoked Ham at the AMANA Meat Shop & Smokehouse. Of all the delicious AMANA hams I've purchased over the many years, the Honey Smoked Ham is now my favorite. The flavor is mild. The meat is juicy, lean and tender. You can't ever go wrong with an AMANA ham of any kind!

Somewhat disappointed as lacking in any smoked taste. Quality of the meat is good but the taste seems sweet but bland. I will be able to make use of it but again a disappointment.

We recently purchased your honey smoked bone-in ham for our Easter celebration.
It is one of the most delicious hams we have ever had! So glad we shopped with you.

Amana Hams are fully cooked and ready to eat. To serve warm: if frozen thaw in refrigerator, remove packaging and place on a rack in a shallow pan or roaster with a small amount of water. Cover with foil or lid. Place in a pre-heated 325° oven. Bake approximately 14-15 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 135°. (You may bathe the ham with liquid from the pan during the heating process.) Remove foil 3/4 the way through the cooking time so browning can occur. Basting with your favorite sauce is optional.
Tip: We recommend our Horseradish Jelly - delicious! Call to order.
Hams may be stored in the freezer in their original packaging for up the three months.
