Q: How many brats are in a pound? I recently purchased a brat 'ride-a-long' and there were only 5 brats included. For the price, I was hoping for a larger quantity. Thanks!

  A: Our bratwurst come 5 per pound. Our Smoked Bratwurst is very popular. If you like cheese, we recommend our Cheddar Brats. Like spicy? Go for the Andouille.

Q: My daughter is severely allergic to gluten and dairy so I need to know how the brats are made and if there could be any seasonings or fillers in it that would have gluten or dairy

  A: We make our bratwurst right here at the Amana Meat Shop. I would stay away from our bratwurst that contain cheese for your daughter's dairy allergy, but our bratwurst do not have any gluten, so your daughter would be able to enjoy our regular smoked bratwurst, polish-style sausage, maple country sausage and andouille (if she likes spicy).
