Amana Response: Thank you for the wonderful feedback! We shared with the whole staff. So glad we could make your husband's Valentine's Day. You certainly made ours today!
If your steaks are frozen, thaw in the refrigerator overnight, then bring them to room temperature before grilling. Heat your grill to medium high. Brush the steaks on both sides with oil and season liberally with your favorite seasonings. Place the steaks on the grill and cook until slightly charred, 4 to 5 minutes. Turn the steaks over and continue to grill 3 to 5 minutes for medium-rare, 5 to 7 minutes for medium, or 8 to 10 minutes for medium-well. (We recommend using a meat thermometer to check internal temperatures: 135° for medium rare, 140° for medium, or 150° for well done.) Allow you steaks to rest 5-10 minutes before serving to reabsorb their juices.
A pre-heated oven broiler may also be used, following the same basic guidelines as for grilling. *Note: Cooking times may vary per oven. When using an electric range, leave door ajar when broiling. With gas ranges, the door should remain closed.
Our boneless pork chops are so quick and easy to cook. Brush the chops on both sides with oil. Season liberally with your favorite seasonings on both sides. Grill them over a pre-heated grill on medium heat for about 7-8 minutes per side or until an internal thermometer reaches a temperature between 145°-150°. If too much browning Is taking place, remove them from direct heat to finish cooking. You may also brown them in a skillet 2-3 minutes per side and finish baking them in a covered dish at 325° oven until done. Always let your pork chops rest for about 10 minutes before serving.
Tip: Marinating your pork before cooking adds flavor and moistness to the meat.
We recommend using our All Natural Seasoning to season your beef and pork. So delicious and adds great flavor to your meat!
Our Smoked Turkeys are fully cooked and ready to eat. We recommend that the turkey be served at room temperature, but can be re-heated and still be delicious. Simply follow these instructions for re-heating for the best results.
To serve warm: if frozen thaw in refrigerator, remove packaging and place on a rack in a pan or roaster with a small amount of water. Cover with foil or lid. Place in a pre-heated 325° oven. Bake approximately 12 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 135°. (You may bathe the turkey with liquid from the pan during the heating process for maximum flavor and to retain moisture.) Remove foil 3/4 the way through the cooking time so browning can occur. Basting with the turkey with your favorite savory sauce is always an option. Let rest approximately 10 minutes before serving.
*SPECIAL NOTE: Your smoked turkey may have a pink cast when sliced. This is a harmless characteristic of smoked poultry.
All meats can be stored in the freezer in their original packaging for up to three months.
