This sausage is like summer sausage but much much better. It's not greasy but has such a great taste. My wife and me slice some off the roll and with some crackers take it on the golf course with us. The sausage & beef sticks are perfect to take on the go so you have some great snacks.

I am from Ukraine where making smoked sausages, bacon, is a thousands years old tradition. I grew up eating delicious, flavourful home made sausages. I couldn't find here in US sausage that woul be near as giid as i use to eat at home. So i took a chance and ordered it online and was happy with what i got. This is the best sausage. I love it so much I sent it to my relatives for Christmas. Ordered it at noon on Tuesday and they received it by end of Wednesday in state. Those out of State received it by end of Thursday. Great job Amana Meat Shop & SmokeHouse!

Amana Old World Summer Sausage is the best. I love the herbs and spices in the meat.
The Smokey flavor is just right. I have over the years tried many summer sausages, but when I tasted this one when I was in Amana this year, I knew I had to order more. Theirs no other sausage like this one.

I am an Iowa boy living in TX. Despite alot of great meat down here I ship all mine from Amana. Particularly anything that Oinks! All the men in my family know at Xmas this is what they are getting. Love the HAM and the awesome ham-bone soup my wife makes after the fact. I highly recommend just about anything on the menu.

I love your old fashion sausage. It is the best. My only thought is That it seems the two seem smaller than previously ordered. I could be wrong but I often give them as gifts and they made the comment as well.

Amana Response: Hi Loren, Thank you for your review. These Old World Summer Sausages are done in small batches and the length and thickness does vary batch to batch, so the sizes can look quite different. The number of ounces per sausage, however, will always be right around 16 oz.
