I have ordered so many things from Amana and the Bone in Ham is incredible, the Canadian bacon superb, the bacon all delicious, but I won't order the cheddar brats again. The skin on them is thick and so hard to eat and chew. There are several great reviews about them - they are delicious - but take the skin off first.

Amana Response: Thank you for your comments. We are sorry you found the bratwurst hard to eat. We use natural casings and occasionally, some casings are a little thicker than others. Our production team will address this thickness issue.

Thanks a lot for making up a recipe that is not piping HOT. We here enjoy a mild recipe and then pile on top what ever we decide to of our own taste buds---that way even small children can usually enjoy this type of an item. I know much has been said for we Americans to try for as good a health as possible and most all orders for Good Men was something mild for one and all and then if any man chose to treat his own stomach otherwise only a bottle of Tabasco Sauce was on the grocery shelves for a purchase!!!

Amana products have been the best buy for this family for many years.

Our Amana Bratwurst are fully cooked and smoked. Re-heat and brown to perfection. Simply preheat your grill or skillet to medium or medium high, and cook approximately 5-6 minutes per sausage, turning during the warming process for even browning. Grills vary so adjust the time and temperature as needed. Once grilled, you may keep them warm in a crockpot. Just brown, serve, and enjoy! Top with your favorite condiments and relishes. We recommend serving them with our Amana German Mustard and Sauerkraut. Call to add to your order!
Tip: Customers have told us how great these are when adding to your favorite soup and or stew recipes, particularly our Smoked Bratwurst and Andouille Sausage varieties. Be creative...imagine Cheddar Bratwurst added to a creamy potato soup or a creamy vegetable medley.
