I am always a fan of an amana meat box as a gift. It is my go to! However when ordering online as I have been lately- I didn't realize that they didn't come in a gift box. I had my last one sent to myself so I could give the gift in person. I do realize with shipping it needs to stay cold but I wish it looked a little more "gift like" when they open it.
Otherwise, products are always 10/10

Amana Response: Thanks for your feedback! We try to make it as "gift like" as possible - especially during the holidays. But we feel in the summertime, we need a little more coolant with the warm temperatures which means we can't use our normal gift box. Great suggestion - we'll see what we can do to improve that!

I have been enjoying the goodies in my "DUTCH LUNCH" Package. The summer sausage is good. I like the summer sausage that is not "double smoked/cured" the best out of the 2. The cheddar cheese is good. I have not tried the horseradish yet. I love cold roast beef sandwiches with "MIRACLE WHIP" SALAD DRESSING and HORSERADISH. YUM, YUM. THANK YOU for the excellent customer service.

I bought this gift box for my father-in-law. The package came right in time after being sent a UPS shipment confirmation email. My mother-in-law told me he "begrudgingly" let her try a little of the cheese! The horseradish is pretty spicy -- my mother-in-law and brother-in-law could only use a teaspoon at a time. However, they do love the heat it packs. I will definitely buy from Amana again rather than risk purchasing similar products with spotty reviews from Amazon.

Amana Response: Thank you for the feedback! Your gift was shipped to Oregon, and unfortunately, it is very expensive to ship 2nd Day Air to Oregon. We try to keep our shipping costs as low as possible, but we do want our products to arrive all over the country in 2 days, thus the required air shipping. We have found our 3 region flat rate shipping to be the fairest we can find. We do appreciate it very much that you sent some Iowa products all the way to Oregon!

The feedback I get about these gifts is over the top. Idea for you of those who have someone laid up for some reason, broken leg, etc. Send them the meat/cheese/mustard combo....or something similar. I was told by my brother in law it was great when people would come visit....he had snacks already prepared.

Our smoked summer sausages are ready to be enjoyed. Just slice thin and serve together with cheese or cheddar cheese spread and crackers. Top with a dollop of horseradish for added zing! Refrigerate after opening.
