This was my first experience with Amana. My order was processed and shipped promptly per website info. Flavorful bacon was medium sliced and well balanced between lean and fat. The bacon cooks up nicely. Would recommend and will likely buy again.

I'm a bit disappointed. I was expecting thick sliced bacon, and that's not what I have. The bacon has good flavor, and cooks up nice and crisp like I like it, but would have preferred something thicker.

The hickory bacon has a very good flavor. My only issue was there was only 1 gel pack in the box and it was completely unthawed. The bacon arrived in the 2 days but was not at a temperature I would have expected.

Received today (Sat May 2, 2020 ) on my front porch when I opened the door to get the paper. Had a good portion for breakfast and it was delicious - very little fat - I enjoyed it almost as much as when we eat breakfast at Amana. It has less fat than the butcher shop bacon available in Lincoln.

We bought the bacon assortment and the boneless ham. High quality and delicious!!
My only minor gripe is that the catalog offers a 2-3 pound boneless ham with a different combination, but I could not find it on the online site as a separate purchase (only with some other combo.) Please get the IT people on it to make this option more readily available for small households. I had to complain to the website feedback that I would have ordered it, and only then did I get a reasponse that it is possible.

We have been going to Amana Colonies for 31 years. Spent our honeymoon there 28 years ago. Amana meats is the best. The bacon is so good, we refuse to buy it at our local grocery store or local meat market. We buy 10 pounds every visit and I order it online a couple times a year. Their mushroom brats are to die for. Love love love Amana Meats

We recently spent 3 wonderful days in the colonies and I visited the meat shop. What a jewel!!!! If you have never been there or tried any of their meats you are really missing out!!!! The best bacon I have ever eaten. Their canadian bacon is to die for and the ham is delicious!!!! We bought some swiss mushroom brats and oh what a treat. They were very tasty. I certainly will be ordering more from them and sending some for the perfects gifts to family and friends!!!!

I was looking for a premium bacon to use in our Farmer's Market "BLT" Throwdown between our mayor and fire chief.I remember eating dinner out at the Amana Colonies in 1967when I played professional baseball for Quad Cities. We ate at a place called Bill Zubers and I remember the food and superior preparation. I figured this bacon and Andouille sausage would be delicious and is just as good as it was back then. It really measures up to the long wait.
