I ordered 2 hams and 2 different bacon options and was given a gift of summer sausage. This order was to feed my sons and their wives during the memorial day weekend. The food was a big hit. I particularly liked the ham. Very moist and tender with lots of the darker color meat that my family prefers. It was flavorful and not too salty as many hams seem to be. This was the best ham I have ever eaten. My family also like the bacon--thick and meaty. I really liked the apple wood more than the pepper as I am not much for spicy tastes but other members of my family liked both. the sausage was eaten with crackers and cheese and was also a hit. there was no disappointment with our purchase and it was good value for the price.

The quality of the ingredients was excellent, but the smoke flavor barely registered on the taste bud scale. The label was blue, but did not indicate that the product was double smoked.
