I ordered a 8 - 9 lb ribeye roast. Sent from the Amanas all the way to Key West! It was absolutely packed well, and arrived on time! We ate it on Christmas and it was so delicious! Perfect way to celebrate!

Definitely Iowa Beef is the best and the only place I am sure of it is in Amana Meat Shop. I am partial to ribeye and these are great. I am one of those that I am certain a chef one day will chase me down the street yelling because I like it well done. These steaks retain their flavor, texture, moisture even if prepared like I love them. So I bought a new grill, it is standing out in the snow, waiting for me to muster up the courage to grill a couple of ribeyes. I might share them with the wife, but she is more of a filet person and Louie the spaniel won't get even a nibble.

Grilled 2 of the 8 ribeye steaks we ordered. They were 10 oz. each about 1/2" thick, just salt and peppered cooked about medium and tasted great and very tender.

Our 3rd order since December from the Amana Meat Shop. Best meat ever, great quality and service. Tender and Juicy Steaks!! Have ordered their Hams, Pork Chops, Fellits, Rib Eyes, Bratwurst, Sausages, and Mustard. All were what we hoped for and expected. Reasonable prices.

We have only cooked 2 and they were great.
If your steaks are frozen, thaw in the refrigerator overnight, then bring them to room temperature before grilling. Heat your grill to medium high. Brush the steaks on both sides with oil and season liberally with your favorite seasonings. Place the steaks on the grill and cook until slightly charred, 4 to 5 minutes. Turn the steaks over and continue to grill 3 to 5 minutes for medium-rare, 5 to 7 minutes for medium, or 8 to 10 minutes for medium-well. (We recommend using a meat thermometer to check internal temperatures: 135° for medium rare, 140° for medium, or 150° for well done.) Allow you steaks to rest 5-10 minutes before serving to reabsorb their juices.
A pre-heated oven broiler may also be used, following the same basic guidelines as for grilling. *Note: Cooking times may vary per oven. When using an electric range, leave door ajar when broiling. With gas ranges, the door should remain closed.
Tip: Try our All Natural Seasoning to add great flavor!
Steaks may be frozen in their original packaging for up to three months.
