I have been ordering jerky from Amana for a few years now and not sure if something changed or what but the jerky is thicker than what it used to be. I actually prefer the thinner strip meat jerky. The thicker is still really tasty, but for me the thinner pieces were the best. Still going to keep ordering it.

Good jerky but I went to ingredients prior to purchasing and I do not believe nitrates/nitrites were listed so I did not think they were an ingredient. Wrong! When it arrived it was listed right there in plain English. Will not be purchasing jerky from you again. The Pork tenderloin are amazing and will be getting those again!

An outstanding product. The spices are there, but not overwhelming. Product is sealed when it arrives, but will need to be refrigerated after opening - a good feature for travel in that, you are opening a smaller quantity, and could finish a package in a day. I will be re-ordering this one again.

This is an excellent beef jerky. Chewy, great consistency. Not too sugary. The only downside (which doesn't effect the product rating) is that there is not if any pepper on it. This is easily solved by adding it yourself. Just let bring the jerky to room temperature and add cracked pepper to each piece on a paper plate and put back into the package. Wow, now it's PERFECT!!!

I pass through Amana once or twice a year. The Meat Shop is a must stop each time. Their jerky is as good as it gets! All I bought was consumed very quickly, so I placed an online order. Quick and easy. The jerky comes vacuum sealed in individual packets (I bought bulk when in the store). It was fantastic!

They had jerky samples out and we tasted some. OMG! This is best beef jerky I've ever had!! We bought a pound and it was gone before we got back to Utah. I then ordered 2 pounds online and just can't get enough. I wish it wasn't so expensive, or I'd order more! You will NOT be disappointed!

This beef jerky is very good! Its on the drier side (but not too dry) which I like, but its thin enough its easy to eat. The salt and pepper ratio is about perfect. The quality of meat is great. It ranks in the top 5 of my favorite beef jerky's and I've tried around 100 different kinds. You can tell this does not come out a huge commercial kitchen like you get at most gas stations. Although I have found some good beef jerky at gas stations, its just not the big names everyone knows. Nothing is more disappointing then ordering jerky and when it arrives it looks the same as the gas station stuff, and yep tastes the same.
Long story short, ordering beef jerky on the internet is an expensive endeavor and risky. But Amana's is one you will be happy with. But the price of $43 a pound with shipping puts it out of my price range to order.

I have been looking for somewhere I can my beef jerky, and now I've found it! The jerky came packaged in .25 lb packages, so I don't have to worry about the rest being open once I decide to open a pack. Turn-around from point of order to delivery was quick. The only problem I had (which was not Amana's fault) was that it was delivered to the wrong address. Thankfully my neighbor brought it over. Deliciousness!
